So, here are the updates related to my computer situation at school.
Got in contact with the guy selling the 17” monitor for 10$, as expected it was not LCD but CRT, so I said no to him, but now I am thinking I might get it, because I cannot seem to find any cheap LCD maybe below 100$.
About the 2.93 Ghz machine, talked to the guy and struck a deal at $100 only without his 15” monitor (CRT) that he was selling with it. It happens to be TS5010 Emachines Model. With only 80 Gig hdd though. So, if you got a HDD lying around and want to dispose of it and works, you know who to contact …..!! .
Also got I think 30 feet Ethernet cable from department, lying somewhere!!!, it’s a cheap one though might not give me good connection but will try. If that doesn’t work, will probably ask some Techs, who are involved to build me one !!
My desk had a dying flickering tube, so took a good one from another desk, and now my desk is all shiny and bright once again !! (Do not worry did not steal it, the department secretary was there too !!). Also moved my desk and now sits along the sidewall, hence giving me some privacy, so I can watch maybe movies when no one is around if I feel like it ….muuaaahaa !!. But I doubt that’s gonaa happen with the hectic months comes (baah that would be those heavyweight assignments ). Email computer department guy, if they can lend me media so I can possibly install the following softwares on my system.

I will be using PSCAD and possibly Matlab the most for my assignments. And my sexy Ti-89 Calculator too!!!! It simply rocks!!!
Ok since this update taking time to be pubished, in the meanwhile I got the response from the fella incharge of software and stuff on campus and bad news is that university has stopped providing licenses to students for their laptops. But good news is, I will be able to access one of my professors lab, when needed for any of the softwares !! When I am not watching movies or chatting with few lucky fellas online.
Just checked my google adwords account, and whoohoo whopping $50.03 made so far in over like 6-9 months so far !!! Yup I do not know how to make money using ads on my sites. I just suck at making money online and no one teaches me or shares their secrets either !!! So in 6- 9 more months I should get my first google check of $100 !!!. Even google is getting mad at me for not making any money, for they keep sending me every week some optimization tips , that use this, place here and there the ads etc etc….
Tomorrow I do not plan on going to university as class is postponed to Monday, so might just stick around at home, make some templates for my sites or for phplynx directory (will need to learn first how to do that for that directory script). But I like learning and have learnt so much about web already. I will soon be writing something about recent Randfish comments about dropped directory list on seomoz. Does that guy have nothing better to do than write such articles !!!
