Jeff at Volumedrive

What you are seeing in picture  is Jeff working hard inside the datacenter to make sure servers are working 24/7. Picture was provided by Josh from Volumedrive, and i heard jeff has picture of josh, at work in similar fashion. So when you got a crew like that to look after your servers who needs another provider !! From what i hear, either Jeff or Josh can be found in above pose at 4 am in the morning at datacenter every night/morning.
No wonder they do not have a house to sleep in, when datacenter acts as their little cove. They probably end up spending 20 out of 24 hrs inside the datacenter, it must really have a state of arts washroom facility too !!

NOTE to JEFF: Heard of a thing called Energy Drink!!

Even though XHTML valid pages will not render properly on all the browsers is what i found with above site. It was the first site I decided to code with .png images instead of .gif and guess what ? Got burned, as IE 6 view looks so Fugggly !! But .png images offer better quality so i will stick with it, unless i get complaints from users, using the website (if ever lol) . So, is it worth spending extra time to make sure site is XHTML valid ? Well in some cases it is , but in others might not be if website is going to be filled with scripts etc. etc. But beauty of knowing XHTML is that , you become so used to it, that you start coding normally with xhtml not realizing your are doing yourself a favor !! For example this new website, was not at hard for me to make it xhtml valid, as i started coding all div’s , td’s and so on with style=”xyx:zyz;” format !!

Well enough of my craze toward xhtml, but its really easy once you get the hang of it, and not makeing extremely complex website. Following are the list of websites i have coded, and made sure front page was atleast xhtml valid

While mentioning some of my XHTML coded website might as well tell you about my worst xhtml horror story . Its none other than my very first domain i ever bought !! Sbclansite. On doing XHTML check it come up with following report : 729 Errors, 1 warning(s) . Now thats like just what can i say “shameful” of me not to try to fix it. But i have lots of website on me , and it gets out of hand trying to look after them. Overall i think i have over 25 - 30 domains and like 10 -15 working sites.  Well if you wish to hire me to do some xhtml site of yours, do contact me via http://www.a1whs.com/support.php page. Well wanted to start this reviews section long time back, as I spent lots of time on movies or tv series. And Dark Knight or as i call it Batman Part 2 is just the right movie to start of with  a bang (cause my ears are still ringing with all that sound/blasts/ and what not from the movie)…. PS: If you ask me today or  tomorrow or day after tomorrow who were the actors/cast etc in the movie were, well I am sorry i do not know, i rather follow a movie more than try to remember who is casting (by that i mean their real life name( ) in them. So here is the info of the movie i grabbed of our friendly search engine “google”. This is directly stolen from IMDB itself, and the list was long so go crazy if you feel like it, by visiting and looking at that big cast list of Dark Knight! Ok now that you have gone through the list by know lets start talking bit about the movie as it is. Some call Dark Knight as “Dork Knight” which I think doesnt really sink in well with the movie itself. Was it boring, well not really, from the start it had action and most importantly “The Jokers” wittyness/cunningness. I think i just made up a word !!
Were there scenes that could cause serious boredom? Well not serious boredom will set in unless you do not want to understand the concept and story of whats happening and why its happenings. Unless you are basically like one those the kinda kid , who gets to go infront of camera to review some movie they just saw in a big fatass cinema and can only  come up with “oo movie was great there were lots of fights/killing and blasting.. and whoooo i am only 10 and my parents want me to grow up into a tough guy/gal ” . If you like to watch some movies well Dark Knight should work out fine too. But story building in this movie sounds about right.
Were there scenes i liked the most, yes i like the Chopper Scene. I think they only got 1 chopper scene though in the entire movie, so yaa that one !! The one where chopper is taken down by strangling it !!! Come on you gotta admit that i never saw coming, i was like ok those things in those thugs hands are BAZOOKA’s but nope they were not. And not to mention the very next scene after above , the flipping of that truck. But whats unrealistic is (not saying the whole movie is realistic in the first place) is that Joker walks out the flipped Trailer Truck without scratches , while the person sitting beside him never walks out of it !! God dont you love combic book hero movies where good guy never dies, nor does the bad guy !! Not saying no good guy died in this movie, lots of good guys were terminated !! Wont kill the suspense for those wanting to go watch the movie by telling who died and who didn’t , who knows might even get sued by the makers of movie for ruining the suspense and story telling the entire Batman Movie !!

There are lots of scenes that looked amazing and I have to admit the Graphics were great, I was shocked to see how real they made Two-Face guy’s face look so real, you could even see the chin bone exposed, but what i did not understand was that without eye lashes, how come the eye was not watery all the time !! Cause i am sure its a biological thing that happens when eye lashes are missing, might google up more on what are the consequences of missing eyelashes and no blinking on the eye.

So if i were to rate the movie how would i rate it well since i really do not follow comic heros much, and have never been a big fan of batman ever, would give it 8.5/10 overall. Trust me to earn a 9 in my books is really really hard. I would only give 1 movie a 9.5/10 would be “Day after Tomorrow” i really enjoyed that movie and never got bored watching it even for a minute. In this movie i think there were parts that bored me, but the main question on all those with the tight budget (*cough me one of them) would be — Is Dark Knight Worth watching in Theater ?  Well my reply is “O yaa baby” trust me even on your subwoofers/ and kick ass TV with fancy blue rays shabang you cannot beat the wide screen action, and the shaking of the hall when a bullet goes off or when a car crashes….. There are lots of twists throughout the movie, and it seems like its not going end now.. but does really does… Joker plays a very cunning role and acting was equally amazing. I think i liked his acting more than batman’s … Maybe cause he knew how to turn the cards around .. Especially with Reese (lol i felt for that poor guy, he acting seemed natural to me and probably has some future but that’s just me..)…

Anyways go watch that movie whenever its playing in a theater near you at the price right for you. Well I did in Saskatoon’s Galaxy Theater, with my friends. This was their 2nd time !! And i am Sure Dan would be going there again for the 3rd time next week . Will add more to review of feel free to add your own review via the “comment” posting feature of this blog !! Its called technology … just bugging yaa :p

PS: by the way the chick sitting beside me probably covered her ears at time’s some serious loud action was taking place, as the movie was played in like full volume, which is good and the way i like it

I shall now be upgrading wp to latest version (yet again ) damn this WP blogging software is PITA when it comes to keeping it upto date ! It would be way more productive if it did not have so many bugs/security issues !

On the sidenote : this blog just went from pr 0 to pr 1 whohooo :). And notice the previous entry about View My Dns site . Well guess what ? It got indexed on google already thats like less than 8 hrs time after i blogged about it . So google spider must like reading what they find here !!

So basically, View My DNS , is a site dedicated to webmasters/server owners to view and check their dns for issues, and also other cool dns tools and ip tools. View My Dns will try to offer you free Dns Reports / DNS Status checks. Please support the site by sharing it with the webmaster community and spreading the word about us. We have put in few minor annoying human verification checks to prevent hotlinks from other sites. Scripts used here to do dns check etc. are available free of cost from their respective coders. We have just modified them a bit to suite them for our DNS cravings. Cause i do get once in a blue moon customers starting up their first website and are not really sure about setting up nameservers and checking them if they have actually propagated or not.

Hoping to have it operational by friday or saturday. Will seek more dns and webmaster scripts (free ones) and try to incorporate them too so as to give more and more options/tools to webmasters.

So i login to my fancy google analytic account to see traffic to this blog. And i am surprised to see around 600 visits just overnight from stumble coming from some refer.php link from stumble. Not sure what really happened cause after a month only today now i just logged to stumble to see if i can find the source or anything. But nothing…. Sooooo am at a loss as to what happened. Maybe googling around might solve the problem.

Thats pretty amazing that the word has spread across the world :). Seems like icreate seems to be the major culprit in promoting fake usb keys.

Well apart from usb key fix was able to hardly find anything else linkable, so i might seek more linkable topics and write about them . Only few other links were for the evga video card and one more for the sony monitor brightness fixing hack (which i think was cool stuff).

Now for the main topic ” People rip off People” . Well being a computer nerd I suppose i can build you one computer exactly like that if not more powerful, for approximately $1650 . Thats right what seems to be a $2400 pc from the sounds of it by the poster(unless he got ripped off too), you can have it for $1650.

IF interested do shoot me an email or something. But anyways I suppose there are folks out there that will actually fall for such kind of rip offs. So, dont get ripped off when buying something you have no idea about in terms of price trends. Knowledge and asking around helps. If you are living in Saskatoon and interested in a system for that price tag of $1650 do post your comment will get back to you . O well back to work and remember its in our nature to rip others off . Do i rip people off ? Well i wouldnt say rip them off, i rather try to charge enough so it covers the original cost and maybe profits of $20 - $80 for each bigger sale. Hosting however i sell does not even hit that mark some times :). But still love the industry so much to learn, so many folks around to learn from and teach at the same time .

Some of you having any doubts than here is pdf file to look at the price it all can be built for from newegg, but in canada it might be maybe 100-200$ more expensive. PS: add $59 to the total for could not find that motherboard in stock and was prices 359 and was only able to find a board for $300 max. So total comes out to be 1531 USD. Now how does it even come closer to $2400 ? And remember that prices for computer parts keep dropping day by day, so same system if you read this post after a year i am sure can be built for less than 800$ .
