So, cameras these days come in all sizes and brands. Not only that, they also come with varying price tags, some that can rip a pretty big hole in your pocket and than there are some that just fit in them.

Either ways, I had the opportunity to try out DS300 from Nikon (darn expensive camera ) here are like 2 shots i taken so far, will try to take more shots and see if am any good with taking photos with expensive cameras, i know my photography skills with cheapos ain’t that great.

Thats right – Christmas has arrived bit early here in Saskatoon and pictures show the nice fresh snow on the ground early this morning and it feels like -4 celcius or 32 fahrenheit.  Well it could have been worse like the blizzard we had starting in the month of April . One can never be too sure about temperatures here in saskatoon. We can all hope it wont snow in May or June .

It’s finally over cleared my Citizenship Exam and hoping to take the oath to be proud Canadian soon. A day of studying the guide and 5 minutes to finish the exam.

For those taking the new Canadian Citizenship exam here is the format:

1. There will be 20 multiple choice question (on paper, no computer based exam)

2. You must answer 15 correctly that is 75% you must get right.

3. Must answer 2 specific question correctly (else its a fail and out of 4 other question must get atleast 2 right) so in total about 4 questions they specify must be answered correctly.

4. Usually a 30 minute exam.

Note : You must read the book thoroughly though, there were as i talked to few other folks some common sense questions and some that you probably cannot answer if you have not read the booklet (Discover Canada: the Rights and Responsibilities ). Also there are probably 3 different sets of exams, so the person beside you will probably have a different question paper than you, and by that its not just rearranged questions but actually different questions. Mine i think was the easiest, or atleast found it rather easy, probably got 19/20 only had doubt on one question.

Oath ceremony probably in 2 weeks time. So an exciting day today .  Good luck to those taking the exam in few weeks time, don’t sweat if you managed to go through the booklet atleast once. Did not have many questions relating to dates as such, but still a good thing to remember what happened in 1812 and 1867 .

Even before I could finish the first 2 lines of this email I received from a friend of mine, I rushed here to post it for, it is worth the posting and I must warn you if you know English will end up rolling on the floor laughing by the time you are done reading it It was suppose to be for some IAS exam but dunno if that is really true. You’ll forget English by the time you finish reading this. This is a true essay written by a Bihari candidate at the UPSC (IAS) Examinations. The candidate has written an essay on the Indian cow:

Indian Cow

HE IS THE COW. “The cow is a successful animal. Also he is 4 footed, And because he is female, he give milks, [but will do so when he is got child]. He is same like God, sacred to Hindus and useful to man. But he has got four legs together. Two are forward and two are afterwards. His whole body can be utilized for use. More so the milk. Milk comes from 4 taps attached to his basement.

[Horses don't have any such attachment] What can it do? Various ghee, butter, cream, curd, why and the condensed milk and so forth. Also he is useful to cobbler, waterman’s and mankind generally. His motion is slow only because he is of lazy species, Also his other motion.. gober* is much useful to trees, plants as well as for making flat cakes [like Pizza], in hand and drying in the sun.

Cow is the only animal that extricates his feeding after eating. Then afterwards she chews with his teeth that are situated in the inside of the mouth. He is incessantly in the meadows in the grass. His only attacking and defending organ is the horns, especially so when he is got child. This is done by knowing his head whereby he causes the weapons to be paralleled to the ground of the earth and instantly proceed with great velocity forwards. He has got tails also, situated in the backyard, but not like similar animals. It has hairs on the other end of the other side. This is done to frighten away the files.

The palms of his feet are soft unto the touch. So the grasses head is not crushed. At night time have poses by looking down on the ground and he shouts. His eyes and nose are like his other relatives. This is the cow……

We are informed that the candidate passed the exam, and is now an IAS, somewhere in Bihar.

Amazing win, that you can never forget while playing L4D2 ever. Just look at the screenshot, win by 1 Point and over two thousand points scored by both teams. Let me assure you the game was very very very intense. We did however had an afk in the last round that took us down a bit, but still you will not get closer than this on a Versus game mode in Left 4 Dead 2 .
